Spring Break has Sprung

We are on Spring Break this week and I am trying to come up with some fun, local things to do.  Since we take our big ski trip in February we don't usually do anything major this week.  GT will be doing umpire training at the end of the week (his first job!!) so we'll be squeezing all of our fun into Monday-Wednesday.

This weekend was rainy and cold.  Mr. T's parents came to visit so we decided it was the perfect opportunity to head out and FINALLY try The Salt Lick.  I have one word...DIVINE!!!!!!!  BBQ is Mr. T's food.  He loves it and he was not disappointed!  Well he was disappointed but only because he wasn't able to eat more LOL!

Sunday the rain finally cleared out and we did some much needed yard work.  Not much fun for the kiddos or inlaws but I am thrilled that we finally had the time to get it done!

Now I am trying to plan our activities for this week (and get motivated to go for a run).  We may go to the rodeo.  We'll definitely head downtown for some yummy pizza.  The boys want to hang out with their friends.  I want to be able to sleep in and not be awakened by the darn blue jay singing outside our bedroom window at 6 am.  Lots to consider!
