End of an era

Today I went to get my daily diet coke and got my heart broken. Well not broken but badly bruised. My $1.08 large McD's diet coke is no more. They have upped the price to $1.61...bastards! Guess it's time to detox from my habit. Sigh!

GT went to his middle school formal on Friday night with his girlfriend.  I was lucky enough to chaperone and see everyone dressed up.  They all seemed to have a good time.  Hard to believe they are all high school bound...

Another Milestone

We are just a few short days away from another milestone at the House of Trinks.  Our oldest boy, GT will be finishing up 8th grade.  I am having a hard time wrapping my head around him being a high school freshman.  I remember when I registered him for kindergarten and they said he would be the Class of 2016.  That seemed so far away!!!!  Boy oh boy do I know better now.

We are very proud of the young man that he is becoming.

Happy Mother's Day

Hope that everyone is having a great day!  I am blessed to have a wonderful mum, a fabulous mother-in-law, and some awesome mama friends.  Most of all, I am the lucky mom to 3 awesome boys who make life fun, challenging, and rewarding!

We are having a nice, low key day.  Mr. T and GT got up early to head to the ballpark so that GT could fill in for another team.  I opted out of the 8 am game, being Mother's day and all :).  BMan and Magoo greeted me with funny cards and a new hammock (WOO HOO!)  Mr. T and GT brought me my fave...a McD's Diet Coke.  The hubs and I tackled the yard.  And finally, we'll head out to watch GT practice with the pre-freshman baseball team and then maybe have dinner out.

NEW COMPUTER!!!

My hubby and boys rock!  I got an early mother's day present...a new MacBook Pro!  It is awesome and shiny and super fast.  WOO HOO!!!
